MUSEUM TRIP

On Monday 10-26-09 my class went to the American Museum of Natural History. We went to the Rose Center, Hall of Meteorite, and we saw a movie about the big bang and about stars. In the Rose Center I learned how our universe was invented also some information about planet Venus. In the hall of Meteorites, I learned about three Meteor's that hit our atmosphere but couldn't burn up into shooting stars. Also in the movies I learned about far off galaxy's.

A few things that I learned about Venus was that it's covered in a thick cloud, so it would pretty difficult to land on Venus. It's also 495 degrees Fahrenheit. I also learned the difference between a meteor and a meteorite. A meteor wanders around space were as a meteorite burns up in our atmosphere and turns into a shooting star.

A few Questions that i still have is that, why is Venus covered in a thick cloud? Also why is Venus so hot?
